Le-Vue Privacy Policy
Operator: Shenzhen Melechuang Technology Co., Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our")
Covered product: Le-Vue (package name: com.mlt.LeVue)
Contact: service@mltcloud.com
Key statement: Le-Vue contains no third-party advertising, does not track users across apps or websites, does not sell personal data, and does not use third-party advertising analytics or behavioral profiling services.
Le-Vue is a companion app for smart glasses. It provides device connection and management, an AI assistant, speech and image recognition, translation, meeting notes, a media album, real-time preview, audio/video calls, navigation, and schedule reminders. This Policy explains how we process personal data when you use those features and the choices available to you.
Please read this Policy before using the app. When a feature requires Bluetooth, microphone, camera, photos, location, local network, or calendar access, we provide a contextual explanation and request system permission. Refusing an optional permission does not affect features unrelated to that permission.
1. Data We Process
1.1 Device connection and management
When you scan for, connect, bind, or manage smart glasses, we may process the Bluetooth name, peripheral identifier, valid MAC address or device address, model, protocol family, firmware and hardware version, battery level, signal strength, connection state, capabilities, and update status. We use this data to identify the device, establish and restore connections, display status, send commands, and perform firmware updates.
1.2 AI, voice, and translation content
When you actively use the AI assistant, image recognition, dialogue translation, simultaneous interpretation, glasses-and-phone translation, photo translation, meeting notes, voice wake-up, or voice commands, we process the data required for that feature, which may include:
- audio recorded on the phone or streamed from connected glasses;
- photos you take or select, or images uploaded by the glasses;
- recognized text, translations, AI prompts and responses, meeting transcripts, and summaries;
- request identifiers, language settings, device model, firmware version, and AI service channel information; and
- your location or address when you have granted location permission and the requested feature requires it, such as weather, nearby places, navigation, or ride-hailing.
This content is sent to our AI services and processors required to provide the selected capability. We do not use it for advertising or cross-app profiling.
1.3 Album, recordings, video, and live preview
When you sync files from the glasses, take photos or videos, record audio, use live preview, or select content from the system photo library, the app processes the relevant photo, video, audio, thumbnail, filename, media type, size, capture time, duration, favorite status, and local file path. Content is stored in the app's local sandbox by default. It leaves your device only when you use an online feature that clearly requires it, such as AI processing, translation, sharing, or calling.
1.4 Audio and video calls
When you place or answer a call, we and Tencent Cloud communication services process a call user identifier, call signaling, call type, status, device and network information, and real-time audio or video streams. The streams are used to establish the call. Le-Vue does not record calls locally by default.
1.5 Location, navigation, and ride-hailing
When you grant location permission and use weather, nearby-place, navigation, or ride-hailing features, we may process coordinates, accuracy, address, destination, and route queries. Necessary place information may be sent to Amap or to a third-party map app you choose to open. You may disable location access in system settings at any time.
1.6 Schedule reminders and system calendar
When you create a reminder and choose to sync it with the system calendar, the app processes its title, notes, start and end time, recurrence rules, and calendar/event identifiers. Reminders are first stored in the local database and are written to the system calendar only after you grant permission.
1.7 Account, feedback, and support data
If a version of Le-Vue offers account sign-in, feedback, after-sales support, or online services, we may process the account name, nickname, contact details, message, and attachments that you submit. We use this data only for authentication, responding to feedback, and providing the requested service. If account functionality is not enabled, the app does not collect account data under this section.
1.8 Diagnostic logs and network data
To diagnose Bluetooth, audio, AI, database, and navigation issues, Le-Vue creates local diagnostic logs that may include timestamps, app and OS versions, device model, user operation steps, error codes, connection state, and request state. Logs remain on your device unless you intentionally export and send them to us. When the app makes a network request, the server normally receives the IP address, request time, network state, and basic protocol logs.
2. Local Storage and Online Processing
| Category | Default location | When it is sent online |
|---|---|---|
| Bound devices and settings | Local database and secure storage | Only where device configuration or firmware services require it |
| Photos, videos, and recordings | App sandbox | When you use AI, translation, sharing, or call features |
| Translations, AI interactions, meeting notes, and memos | Local database | When recognition, translation, an AI response, or a summary is generated |
| Schedule reminders | Local database | When written to the system calendar with permission or when a feature clearly requires a network service |
| Diagnostic logs | Local logs directory | Only when you export them or submit feedback |
3. Device Permissions
| Permission | Purpose | Effect if denied |
|---|---|---|
| Bluetooth and nearby devices | Scan, connect, reconnect, and manage glasses | The app cannot connect to or manage glasses |
| Microphone | Recording, speech recognition, translation, meeting notes, and calls | Features requiring the phone microphone will not work; glasses audio may remain available |
| Camera | Photo translation, image recognition, and video calls | Phone-camera features will not work |
| Photos, videos, and audio | Select, save, and share media | The app cannot select or save the relevant media |
| Location | Weather, nearby places, navigation, ride-hailing, and Bluetooth scanning on some older Android versions | Location-based features will not work; other features remain available |
| Local network, Wi-Fi, and nearby Wi-Fi | Glasses file sync, live preview, and local device communication | The related transfer or preview feature will not work |
| Calendar | Create, update, and delete events generated by Le-Vue | Reminders remain available in the app but cannot sync to the system calendar |
| Notifications and background audio | Call notifications, recording, playback, and device connection tasks | Background or notification behavior may be limited |
You can review or revoke permissions in system settings. Revocation does not affect processing already completed under a valid authorization.

5. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure
We do not share personal data with third parties other than the functional providers listed in this Policy, except where:
- you have provided separate consent;
- sharing is necessary to perform a feature or service you requested;
- we must comply with applicable law, legal process, or a lawful government request;
- sharing is necessary to protect the life, health, property, or safety of you, other users, or the public; or
- our business undergoes a merger, division, acquisition, or asset transfer, in which case the successor must remain bound by this Policy or obtain new consent.
We do not publicly disclose personal data unless you separately consent or applicable law requires it.

- Call data: real-time audio and video streams are transmitted for the call and are not recorded by Le-Vue by default. Communication providers retain necessary logs according to their policies.
- International processing: some AI, speech, or communication services may process data outside your country or region depending on the selected service endpoint. We apply contractual, security, and authorization safeguards required by applicable law and request separate consent where required.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, a copy, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, withdraw consent, close an available account, or submit a complaint. You may also:
- delete album, translation, AI, meeting note, memo, and schedule records in the app;
- revoke microphone, camera, photo, location, Bluetooth, calendar, and other permissions in system settings;

- contact us using the email below for other requests.
We may need to verify your identity to protect your account and data. We generally respond within the period required by applicable law.
8. Security
We use measures such as access controls, encrypted transmission, least-privilege permissions, log classification, and secure development practices. No Internet or wireless transmission is completely secure. If a security incident may affect your rights, we will take remedial action and provide notice as required by law.
9. Children
Le-Vue is a general-audience smart-glasses utility and is not specifically designed for children. We do not show advertising or create profiles based on children's data. A user who is below the age at which they may independently consent in their jurisdiction should use the app only after a parent or guardian has reviewed and accepted this Policy. A guardian who believes a child submitted data without appropriate consent may contact us to request deletion.
10. Policy Updates
We update this Policy when our features, data practices, or providers materially change. For significant changes, we provide an in-app notice or another prominent notice and request renewed consent where required. The current update and effective dates appear at the top of this page.
